SHIV JAYANTI CELEBRATION

Here are SMAP SHIV JAYANTI CELEBRATION GUIDELINES for your reference:

  1. There’re 3 essential characteristics of SMAP Shiv Jayanti –

    (1) tribute to Indian national heroes – Chh. Shivaji Maharaj. Maharana Pratap, Rani Laxmibai, Prithviraj Chauhan, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and Raja Krishnadevaraya,
    (2) a scholar to speak on “importance of good role model like Chh. Shivaji Maharaj, in 21st century” and
    (3) a cause of “Community Service” must be attached to it e.g. funds raised to be used for social work, medical camp at event, etc.

  2. The local committee has free hand in conducting the events e.g. Dhol Tasha, music, dances, etc. but No Bollywood… absolutely no useless songs like “munni badnam hui, kuchh kuchh hota hai…”
  3. You may combine SMAP Shiv Jayanti celebration with other event that your organization celebrates e.g. your local Mandal and SMAP can jointly organize the event.
  4. The celebration should take place on any day in February or March (ideally between 2/19/23 and 3/20/23)
  5. This MUST be a non-political, non-religious, AND non-profit celebration that promotes Unity, Leadership and Community Service. No other agenda.
